ICADA (International Council of Natural Cosmetic Manufacturers) is an internationally recognised organisation that awards certifications for natural and organic cosmetic products. ICADA-certified cosmetics stand for the highest quality standards and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. To receive the ICADA seal, cosmetics manufacturers must meet strict guidelines. These guidelines include a careful selection of natural ingredients that come from controlled organic cultivation or are obtained from wild collections. Genetically modified organisms, synthetic fragrances, dyes and raw materials derived from mineral oil are not allowed in ICADA-certified cosmetics. Animal testing is also strictly prohibited.
